Introduction

In recent years, there are more and more countries are advancing their transportation infrastructures, especially in Europe, North America, Japan, and China into high speed railways. Which provides the commuters more comfortable, speedy, and convenient mode of transportation then ever.
We are getting used to seeing some informative devices which provide location timetable information and entertain us during the riding times. Also these devices communicate with each other by using special CAN bus protocols. The privileges for these devices are anti-vibrated, shock-resistant, with low-energy consumption and wide range temperature.
What’s more? The key-device for transportation which called Embedded Automation Controller (EAC) is central platform for embedded computing to communicate devices in vehicles. The EAC could accept sensor signals and send control signals to trigger devices remotely which need to be commanded via serial and LAN ports. The most special design for us with power and serial signal isolation and well heat dissipation to meet DNV type approval requirement. EAC was also flexible mounting mechanism to fit in various environment for transportation application.
