Introduction
Interactive White Board (IWB) enriches the teaching and makes the teaching more vivid. But for many teachers, it is just a "nice to have" gadget. Many people would even claim that it is a burden as the preparation for teaching might wear out the passion. However, when the Interactive Response System (IRS) is introduced to the classroom, the debate should come to an end. IRS is nothing more than a remote control to collect learning feedback about comprehension, but, thanks of the smart calculation behind the device, it could also generate instant evaluation report during class or anytime you prefer without bothering the whole teaching process. By these reports, teachers will be able to adjust the tempo and difficulty level, to meet the students' learning ability. Traditionally it could only be implemented by means of quiz or final test by the end of the semester. Now, it can be done effortlessly. On the other hand, students have to pay attention to what you teach whenever the device is in their hand. This results in a "must have" IRS together with "nice to have" is enabling a real interactive learning environment.
